Jessica Amy (Noble) Oberlin was born December 5, 1990 in Fresno, California. She took her first airplane trip at 6 weeks old. In her first year she lived in California, New York, Virginia, and Arizona. She already had a box full of airplane wings. Her life was an adventure from the start. She never knew it was unusual to move all the time. She started Kindergarten in Colorado Springs, CO. She saw Royal Gorge, drove to the top of Pikes Peak, and went to her first hot
air balloon festival. First grade was in Arlington, VA. She visited the Smithsonian museums and multiple national monuments. She also made many trips to New York to visit her grandparents. She explored state parks, went horseback riding for the first time, and visited the statue of liberty. Then she moved across the ocean to Germany. She spent second through fourth grade at Vogelweh Elementary School. She saw Herren chiemsee in Bavaria. She also visited many sights in Austria, Italy, France, Malta, and Portugal. In 2001, it was time to move again. Half way across the world again to Lompoc, CA. She had a
patriotic year in 5th grade visiting Missions on the California coast. In sixth grade it was another move, to Susanville, on the eastern side of the sierra in Northern California. She attended seventh and eighth grade here. She saw her first professional baseball game and visited
San Francisco, which became one of her favorite places. She went to high school in Clovis, New Mexico. She discovered her passion for cooking breakfast burritos and cross-stitch. She also was very active in DECA the marketing program. She was selected to go to national competitions twice. She spent a sweet summer living in Hawaii with her family. She started college at UNM in Albuquerque. At the beginning of 2010, the family moved to Ohio, and Jess transferred to Wright State University where she would meet her future husband, Ryan. While at Wright State, Jessica developed an interest in Judo, earning a yellow belt
while at school. She continued her studies until moving to Colorado Springs to be with her fiancé. Shortly after moving to Colorado Springs, she adopted her dog, Sheeba, whom she completely adored. After enrolling in Hospitality Management courses, she began working for The Broadmoor, as a Front Office Agent. In 2014, her fiancé deployed to Afghanistan, while he was away she continued her studies and employment while taking care of their home. On October 27th, 2015 she was married to her husband, Ryan Oberlin. Her fiery ambition and passion for life was only eclipsed by the light in her eyes. Her wide
range of interests and experiences gave her wisdom beyond her years. With her love of learning and her self-discipline she taught herself
the Korean language, and became an amazing artist and writer. Somehow she managed to be as sophisticated as a Parisian, Brooklyn tough, and
Kansas innocent all at the same time.
