Patricia O'Donnell Jackson, 91, passed away on August 4, 2017 at Columbus Hospice. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky to James Reynolds and Henrietta O'Donnell on November 8, 1925. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Dr. M. W. Jackson, Jr., a Columbus dentist for over 40 years, and by her daughter, Patricia "Patti" Jackson Howard.
She is survived by her children: M. W. "Mike" Jackson, III (Kathy), Lloyd J. Pease (Jay), and John A. "Johnny" Jackson (Debbie), son-in-law Stephen Howard (Sue) and her grandchildren: Kelly H. Butts, Ann B. Howard,...

Patricia O'Donnell Jackson, 91, passed away on August 4, 2017 at Columbus Hospice. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky to James Reynolds and Henrietta O'Donnell on November 8, 1925. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Dr. M. W. Jackson, Jr., a Columbus dentist for over 40 years, and by her daughter, Patricia "Patti" Jackson Howard.
She is survived by her children: M. W. "Mike" Jackson, III (Kathy), Lloyd J. Pease (Jay), and John A. "Johnny" Jackson (Debbie), son-in-law Stephen Howard (Sue) and her grandchildren: Kelly H. Butts, Ann B. Howard, Carter J. Reinhardt (Scott), Claire J. Thomas (Daniel), Jack J. "Jason" Pease, IV (Whitney), Adam R. Pease (Cathryn), Kathleen F. Pease, and Bradley W. Jackson and her twelve great-grandchildren.
Patricia was a member of First Baptist Church for over 61 years and a former member of the Country Club of Columbus. She enjoyed golf and bridge, but received the most pleasure watching and cheering for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren in all their endeavors. The family appreciates the wonderful care she has received at Spring Harbor and Columbus Hospice and especially the love and friendship from her caretaker, Candi Messer.
Visitation will be held at the home of her daughter, Lloyd Pease on Monday, August 7, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby, Columbus with a private burial to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Patricia Jackson Howard Scholarship Fund at the Historic Columbus Foundation, 1440 2nd Ave. Columbus, Georgia 31901.
